Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m.
The production company consists of four core performers presenting “Squirm Burpee: A Vaudevillian Melodrama.” The company combines juggling and art skills “to create ingenious props, clever costumes and a uniquely beautiful onstage aesthetic. It’s a great family show where the audience oftentimes becomes part of the program.
Jim Witter, The Piano Man
Oct. 16, 7:30 p.m.
The Witter show is described as “a musical and visual celebration of the ’70s, featuring the timeless hits of Billy Joel and Elton John." This multi-media rock musical is a trip down memory lane with a well-orchestrated slide/video presentation that is sure to put you right back in the moment while listening to the soundtrack of your life.
Lawrence County Gospel Review
Feb. 12, 7:30 p.m.
“This will be a hand-clapping, foot-stomping and join-in-with-the-singing type of event. The area is blessed with a plethora of outstanding gospel bands and choirs. We already have commitments from some of Bedford’s better-known performers. Among them are Clarence Brown and Mark Vice.
Barbra and Frank, ‘The Concert That Never Was’
April 9, 7:30 p.m.
The concert features Sharon Owens as Barbra Streisand and Sebastian Anzaldo as Frank Sinatra. Edwards said the concert is “a sensational tribute to the voices of the century.” Owens is described as having “a stunning resemblance in both appearance and voice to Barbra Streisand.” Anzaldo, promoters say, “looks like and sounds like a young Frank Sinatra.”
